So much for innovation


A Scottish
company claims that Job's Mob nicked patented technology on its so called inovative iPhone and iTouch toys.

Picsel Technologies has said “see you Jimmy” to Jobs' Mob and filed its lawsuit at Delaware District Court. The bit of the iPhone and iTouch that Apple pinched, the Scots claim, is an invention which allows users to scan through on-screen content without experiencing prolonged delays.

Picsel wants compensation for the units already sold, unspecified damages and patent damages. If Apple had not borrowed Picsel Technology, Apple users would not be so smug as their zooming and panning would be slower than a snail on its way to a French restaurant, the outfit claimed [I think you paraphrased a bit there.ed]

Apple is not saying anything but then again it never comments on bad news.
