More advanced multimedia support

 

LiMo Foundation announced a new update for their LiMo Linux platform. The new update will bring new features, among which are the advanced multimedia functions, more secure platform and and device management.

These new improvements are achieved through a selfless cooperation with numerous companies from the LiMo foundation, including LG, Samsung, Purple Labs, Azingo and others.

The mobile operators supporting the LiMo platform are SK Telecom, Telefonica, Verizon Wireless, Vodafone, NTT DoCoMo and Orange. All of these announced their LiMo-based devices for the year 2009.

LiMo is also set to showcase their offer on the following World Mobile Congress in Barcelona.
