Has dual core Atom 330

Pictures of Shuttle's upcoming X50 all-in-one system has turned up alongside some detailed specifications. The most interesting part of this system is the dual core Atom 330 CPU, as this is the first all-in-one we've seen so far to feature a dual core Atom, but we're sure it's far from the last.

The X50 features a rather small 15.6in touch screen display with 1,366x768 resolution, although it's the same size display used by Asus on the Eee Top. Other features include 1GB of DDR2 memory, a tiny 80GB hard drive, five USB 2.0 ports, a card reader, an Ethernet port, a Webcam and a pair of audio jacks. The X50 also has a pair of built in speakers and we'd expect it to have some form of WiFi and maybe even Bluetooth.

The X50 is expected to retail for US$499 (€364/£326) plus VAT which is competitive, but it's not as nicely designed as the Asus Eee Top which only costs a little bit more.
