In an interview with PlayStation.com, Sony’s top executives commented how it’s quite important that the company starts making money both in the short term and in 2009 in general. They added how they made that pledge last March and it is their primary goal.

Well, when they’re right, they’re right, but we’re truly mystified as to what were their plans prior to March. I mean, it’s not like they were chilling and playing Wii (ups!) all this while.

Still, there’s some good news among this obsolete talk, and it’s Sony’s announcement that 2009 will be a great year for PlayStation. With several new exciting titles coming up and some services, they added how “2009 will be a prime example of PS at its very best.”
