According to paper

Over the
past three weeks, the green and red team GPU manufacturers have cut their prices back by 10 - 20% and have revealed increasing marginal revenue from sales, according to a Commercial Times report.

Additionally, there have been reports of back stock GPU inventories being reduced from both companies. The latter news is particularly good for Nvidia, as the burden of 65nm stock will be absent and the company's new 55nm lineup can hit the market with full speed from the start of the new year.

As a result of cleared inventories, both companies will most likely adjust packaging and testing houses back to their usual volumes by the end of February. Reduced outsourcing to Taiwan wafer foundries is expected to occur as well.
