Has tiny color LCD

It was only yesterday that the G13 gameboard from Logitech was announced, but there are already details and a picture of Logitech's next G-series device, the G18 gaming keyboard with a color LCD display.

There aren't a lot of details about this new gaming keyboard so far, although it doesn't look too different from the G15. However, the latest G15 models lost the flip-up display, but it seems like Logitech has gone back to that concept, but improved upon it by adding a full color display.

Size-wise, we'd guess that it's about a 2-3-inch display, judging by the picture and it will presumably work with Windows Sideshow, as it would make it easy to integrated it with various games. However, it's too early to draw any conclusions from a single picture, but we'd expect Logitech to be showing off the G18 at CES in early January.

This will most likely be one of the most expensive keyboards ever, as the cost of adding a full color LCD is going to translate into a very high retail price. If it's well executed and works well with a wide range of popular games, then maybe the price isn't going to be such a huge issue. Still, we can't see Logitech selling too many of these.
