Chasing Amy’s Wii

Sony revealed that pre-Xmas PS3 pricing, which has hit all-time low, is not Sony’s doing, as they’ve got nothing to do with actual retail sales.

They added that SonyStyle and Sony Center are franchises and they do business with them just as with any other outlet, which means that they have the freedom to make their special offers.

SonyStyle apparently dropped 80GB PS3 prices to £259.00 and the 40GB model to £249.00. Sony also announced that PS3 pricing will be more competitive next year, but I’d advise both Sony and Microsoft to take a course with Nintendo on how to make a cheap hit console from day one.
