Gitex 2008: Keyboard wars

A few years back Sony used to be the leader, and Steve Jobs can happily clap HIS hands as this electronic giant recently started to copy its iBook notebooks.

We were shocked to see a Sony Vaio with iBook-like keyboard where Sony clearly wants to capture Mac lovers who are not ready to move from Windows yet.

Well, we’ve seen Asus inventing the netbook market that is now doing just fine and Sony can only hope that this Apple keyboard on a Windows machine will do the trick. This is how it looks, but we are sure that some of you have seen it before.

The key thing for us was to see both of them side by side in Intel’s booth at Dubai’s Gitex, and we are sure that Sony pulled a few connections to make it happen. Jobs can only be happy about it.
