370 million units sold by the end of 2016
A new report from the Photonics Industry and Technology Development Association (PIDA) says that worldwide purchases of OLED panels are on the rise, with the proportion of market share in high-end televisions expected to reach 68 percent in 2020.
Got to fold a little
A new report from the folks at Kolon Industries says that foldable smartphones could make up 20 percent of overall market share, at least in South Korea, during the year after which they are expected to begin mass production.
20 million units in fiscal 2016
Sony has quite an aggressive forecast as the company plans to sell 20 million PlayStation 4 units in fiscal 2016. This should represent a healthy 8.3 percent increase year over year.
