BenQ's XL2730Z 27-inch 2560x1440 AMD FreeSync monitor is now finally showing up on European retail/e-tail shelves.

While already announced earlier at CES 2015 in January, as a monitor that supports DisplayPort 1.2a with Adaptive-Sync, ASUS' MG279Q has now been confirmed as a part of the AMD FreeSync lineup.
Brings FreeSync support
AMD has released its fresh set of beta drivers for Radeon graphics cards, Catalyst 15.3. The new graphics driver brings support for FreeSync monitors, as well as couple of new Crossfire profiles.
Driver coming on March 19
While AMD FreeSync capable monitors are now available in select regions, AMD has given a short update regarding it saying that the FreeSync driver will be coming on March 19th.
Coming in March
While it has already launched quite a few monitors with support for Nvidia G-Sync, Acer has now unveiled the new XG270HU 27-inch 2560x1440 resolution monitor that will support AMD FreeSync, and be available in March.
Reality check needed
BenQ is having problems with reality. We were happy to see yet another G-Sync capable monitor shipping but we were shocked by the price of it.
