Fastest Godavari APU with 4.3GHz Turbo clock
Although announced earlier in January during CES 2016 show, AMD has now officially launched its fastest A-series Godavari APU, the A10-7890K, as well as the new Athlon X4 880K CPU.
Excavator-based quad-core CPU
In addition to the new Kaveri Refresh APUs and new coolers, AMD also launched the new AMD Athlon X4 845 FM2+ CPU, a quad-core CPU based on the new Excavator CPU architecture.
Three new parts
AMD will expand its socket FM2+ chip lineup with three new parts – the A10-7890K and A8-7690K APUs, and the Athlon X4 880K CPU.
Kaveri without its GPU
The spec for the AMD Athlon X4 880K has leaked onto the internet. This AMD processor is based on Kaveri, but without a GPU.
65W, 3.1GHz quad-core
The new AMD Athlon X4 840 is all about value and should make the transition to FM2+ cheaper, provided you don’t need integrated graphics.
