BFG has decided to announce no less than three overclocked cards based on Nvidia's 9800GTX design. The clocks for these cards will range from 700MHz all the way to 755MHz for the GPU, and all three will have the same reference cooling.

The first in line is branded BFG Geforce 9800GTX OC, it works at 700MHz for the core and comes with 512MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at reference 1100MHz (2.2GHz effective). The Shaders on this one ended up overclocked from reference 1688MHz to 1728MHz. The next one, branded BFG Geforce 9800GTX OC2, comes with a 715MHz core clock and has the same 512MB of GDDR3 memory, but this time overclocked to 2250MHz. The Shaders on this one are working at 1782MHz.

Last, but not least, is the new OCX edition that works at 755MHz, which is the highest overclocked GPU so far. It comes with 512MB of GDDR3 memory overclocked to 1150MHz (2.3GHz effective), and the Shaders ended up overclocked to 1890MHz.

All three are eligible for BFG's Trade-Up program, so you have 100 days to decide whether you want to trade it up for Geforce 9800GX2 and to pay the difference in price. You can check out more about this trade-up program here, and you can find additional info on the OCed 9800GTX cards here.
