After mail-in rebate

We already told you that some Nvidia partners were thinking about massive price cuts. Palit sells its Geforce 9600 GT with a custom cooler for $149.99, but after a $40 mail in rebate you end up getting the card for $109.99.

This is an exceptionally good price for such a powerful card, and it's putting the Radeon 3850 under a lot of pressure.

Palit is currently the cheapest one with the 9600GT; and this will finally make the necessary price difference and make 8800GT more attractive.

You can get the card here.
