3D Professor gives it an A+

3Dprofessor,
our dearest pedagogue, took time from his busy schedule to review AMD's latest professional FireGL card.

We're not impressed easily, but the FireGL V7700 sure packs quite a punch and leaves Nvidia's Quadro in the rear view mirror. Not only is it significantly faster, it's also much lower priced.

The RV670 based V7700 is the first professional graphics solution to fully support DisplayPort, or 2560x1600 in 10-bit color with DRM support. It's a dual slot card with 512MB of GDDR4 and it's priced at €620.56.

It should be available in mid-April.
