With non-reference cooler

Club 3D has listed yet another card based on the G92 8800 GT GPU. This time, Club 3D decided to use a non-reference dual slot cooler. Despite the new cooler, the card still works on reference clocks.

The new dual slot cooled Club 3D 8800GT works at 600MHz for the GPU and 900MHz (1800MHz effective) for 512MB of GDDR3 memory. The cooler, which Club 3D calls radial heatpipe cooling technology, is similar to the Zerotherm cooler used on the HD 38x0 overclocked series from Club 3D. The memory and the VRM are not cooled, which isn't such a big problem since the GPU is the part that gets really hot.

Since Club 3D wasn't one of the partners that got 8800 GS it isn't strange that they are pushing hard with 8800 GT. The card is listed on Geizhals, our favorite European price search engine, for €206.53 and all the way up to €278.49, but it is still not available, and you can check it out here.
