Turkish newspaper wins its name

A Turkish newspaper Hurriyet has won the right to a website address with its name.

The UN IP agency handed ownership of the
http://www.hurriyet.com Web address after appealing to a United Nations panel in a dispute with the
unnamed holder of the domain name,
based in Berlin.

According to Associated Press the present owner had registered and used
the domain in bad faith, a World Intellectual Property organisation arbitration panel ruled.
