Only Gainward has 8800 GT stock

We were concerned about 8800 GT availability and we decided to check availability one day after the launch.

The biggest retailer/etailer in Austria, Ditech has zero cards at press time and we failed to find a single 8800 GT in this country. So far, it means that a country of eight million people country got a handful of cards, if even that many.

The situation is a bit better in Germany and oddly enough, Gainward's 8800 GT, the card that we reviewed here, is the only card available in three retail stores. We’ve seen one Asus for €299+ shipping and that was it.

You can purchase the Gainward card here and check the rest of 8800 GT cards on the list here.
