There will be two different GPUs for D8M / G98 cards. The first one is called G98-400-U2/HR and it is manufactured in UMC, while the second one is called G98-400-A2/HR and it comes from Nvidia’s bellowed TSMC fab.
This card also supports native HDMI and DDR2 or DDR3 memory, so there will be a few variations of this card. We don’t think that there will be much of a difference between UMC and TSMC chips, especially not for this low-end product.
The qualification samples are out, but the final driver is expected in the second week of November.
