Leadtek has launched two 8500GT based low profile cards. Only difference between these two, is the way they are cooled. One comes with a passive cooling, while the other is cooled by a small fan.
Looks like Leadtek realized that 8500GT is perfect for HTPC, as long as it's low profile card. Both cards are based on Nvidia 8500GT GPU at reference clocks, 450MHz. Both card also come with 256MB of GDDR2 that is working on reference 800MHz, with a 128 bit memory interface.
According to the pictures that can be found on Leadtek's website, it looks like cards will be bundled with two different types of PCI backplates. Card has DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4.0 support, and comes bundled with Joint Task Force game. Of course the silent, passively cooled one, is more interesting since we all like our HTPC's to be nice and quiet.
