Fusion delayed to 2009

DCC 2007:  Ups we did it again


AMD VP has shown a slide and confirmed that Fusion is pushed to 2009. Last time we heard AMD talking about Fusion was that AMD plans to release it in late 2008.

Obviously they will have to push it further as AMD delayed a lot of products this year. Fusion a synergy of CPU and a GPU.


Ed Fisher said that 2009 will be the year when AMD expects to receive first value of the ATI’s acquisitino. In this year ATI should pay off to AMD, even he already said that AMD was enjoying a great sale of 690G chipset.
