Official HD 2900 XT Support

DAAMIT has just released the latest version of the Catalyst Control Center, version 7.5 and this is the first official, WHQL certified driver for the Radeon HD 2900 XT.

The new driver is available for Vista 32 and 64 bit as well as all flavours of Windows XP, except the 64 bit version.

The driver also adds Crossfire support for the Radeon HD 2900 XT and it will also recognise the newish ATI Theatre 650 chip.

For those of you that don't own a Radeon HD 2900 XT, you might still want to download these drivers, especially if you play games in OpenGL, as ATI has made some performance tuning here for Radeon X1950 XT and X1650 XT cards. The driver also includes a wide range for fixes for both Vista and XP.

You can grab the new driver here and you can read the release notes here
