EVGA anounces 8600 series

Superclocked 8600 GTS and GT announced

Evga, as all other vendors, announced its 8600 GTS, GT and 8500 GT cards.

 

These new graphics cards will be available at online retailers at a MSRP of $219.99 for the 8600GTS and $179.99 for the 8600GT. As for the 8500 GT part with DDR2 it is available at an MSRP of $129.99.

 

Another interesting thing is the announcement of 8600GTS and 8600GT Superclocked. Evga 8600 GTS Superclocked wll work at 720MHz for the core and 2.1GHz memory. As for the little brother 8600 GT it will end up at 576MHz for the core and 1.5GHz for the memory. Both of these have undergone vigorous testing and burn-in procedures to ensure quality, performance and reliability.
