Apple is set to release its next generation iLife suite next week, according to Apple Insider. The move is designed to be in the shops in time for the "back to school" sales.

Previously Apple has indicated that the iLife would not be released until Leopard hits the shops as it is designed to take advantage of the software However Apple Insider quotes people inside Cupertino as saying that August 7 is a certain release date. 

It has also booked the Apple Town hall to make the presentation.
