Games Convention 08: Larger than Vendetta

Along with
the Fatality branded PSU, OCZ has also decided to show the new CPU cooler, the Gladiator Max.

Unlike the Vendetta and Vendetta 2, which had rather modest dimensions, the Gladiator Max is a cooling behemoth. It comes with four copper heatpipes which are using so called H.D.T. technology, or in short, they make a direct contact with the CPU. The aluminum heatsink uses Stack Array technology to further improve heat dissipation to lightweight aluminum fins.

The fan on the new Gladiator Max is an ultra-quiet 120mm PWM fan that produces 19-26dBAs of noise. The noise is reduced, thanks to the implementation of the anti-vibration rubber design for the fan.

Here's how it looks.
