Cisco slashes expenses

Cebit 08: Less company fligts = less CO2

 

Most extreme measures toward global warming prevention are surely being taken by Cisco. Newer devices are more efficient when it comes to efficient energy consumption, but it’s the simplest things that will help the environment. From now on, the company will fly up to 20% less.

Some of the money saved might be spent on making new development centers in India, but we don’t care as long as the company is setting an example. The building is meticulously planned out from the ground up and will do a great job when it comes to conserving energy.

Cisco is the main player when it comes to networks and Internet communication is easier and more efficient than ever. Using Internet and online conferences companies can save a lot and help the environment at the same time.

Other companies joined the “Green” initiative as well.
