A man has appeared in a Sydney court after driving a tank through the city's western suburbs in a war on the local mobile phone network.
Reuters said that he managed to damage six masts but was arrested on his way to do a seventh. He would just drive through perimeter fences and ram the masts. He didn't have any weaponry.
The man has been charged with malicious damage, breaking and entering, predatory driving and driving in a dangerous manner. He has been remanded in custody and the case has been adjourned until Monday.
