Our moles from the land of blue tell us that ahead of the Black Friday sales, Wal-Mart will try to give Xbox 360 sales a shot in the arm with an interesting promotion. According to our moles, Wal-Mart will be selling Xbox 360 Arcade systems for $199 and will be issuing a $100 Wal-Mart gift card with each purchase this Saturday.

From the whispers we hear, the number of units allocated for this sale are limited, and the promotion is to run on Saturday, November 7th, only. While we are still attempting to get additional verification of this information, we expect that it is likely accurate. Not a bad deal, all in all, and it is likely that if Wal-Mart has allocated enough units it could result in a nice spike in Xbox 360 sales heading into the holiday shopping season.
