Outperforms Apogee GTZ by 3C

Southern California
PC cooling manufacturer Swiftech has just announced a new trendsetting “Extreme Performance” Apogee waterblock from its engineering laboratories this week. Designed and optimized for Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7 processors, the new flagship Apogee XT represents the culmination of months of research and development marked by hundreds of competitive testing hours.

In perspective, the Apogee XT features a topographically mapped cold plate, a detachable inlet plate, and a micro pin matrix-style design. Its dual copper and brass construction complemented by its luxurious black chrome plating finish uniquely suit it for competition among the high-end range of similarly constructed designs.

Swiftech takes to heart the fact that every liquid cooling enthusiast demands solid empirical evidence that every new waterblock passes the test of uncompromised marketing statistics. As such, the company conducted a comparative temperature data test between the Apogee GTZ and the new Apogee XT on a Core i7 920 D0 at 4.09GHz with 1.392v. According to the Delta T temperatures on maximum load using CPU Burn, the Apogee XT outperformed the GTZ by a 2.94C improvement. The company also claims that a ~1.5C improvement was observed compared to the best competitive waterblock tested in its lab.

Swiftech’s latest flagship LGA 1366/1156/775 heat killer will be available sometime next week for $79.99.
