After gamers got over the news that BioShock 2 would not make it out the door this year and had been postponed till next year, everyone just wanted to know how much longer the wait would be to get back to the undersea city of Rapture.

Word now is that 2K Games is confident enough to finally announce that BioShock 2 will arrive on February 9th and as we told you recently, it will be leading several other high profile titles that are expected to drop during 2010.

While not a lot is really known yet about the BioShock 2 sequel, we do know that this one is set about ten years after the events in the first BioShock title. If the sequel lives up to what we saw in the first BioShock, it should be a must-have on the games to buy for 2010.
