A new engine

New trailer and new set of screenshots are released for the firs official online Conan RPG: Age of Conan – Hyborian Adventures.  To view the trailer and the screenshots visit this page.

Funcom has developed new engine, Real Time Combat engine, for the game. The engine brings multi-point melee system that allows the players to swing their weapons where they direct it, in real-time of course.

Players will get to enjoy both PvP and PvE action, form guilds and all other good things that are common for MMO, but the developers have promised to be different then the other MMO’s and bring the most brutal action ever seen in an MMO and very deep and detailed character customization.

They say that this game is no "cartoon fairytale" and it is a game "made by grownups for grownups". All that with apparently stunning graphics and killer soundtrack with 7.1 surround sound.

The game is expected on October 30th this year.  You can sign up for beta version by visiting this page
