For both Intel and AMD

Gelid Solutions has announced two new coolers that are part of its Silence line of products, the Slim Silence low profile coolers. Both Intel and AMD Slim Silence coolers are just 28mm high and should be good for CPUs with a TDP of up to 65W.

These new low-profile coolers are in some cases even thinner than the northbridge heatsink and will come with an 80mm ball bearing fan that spins between 1200 and 2500RPM. The Slim Silence AM2 and 775 are both based on an aluminium heatsink and will come with a pre-applied thermal paste.

Both will be backed by 5 years of warranty and will be available with a price tag of US $22.50/€16 for the Intel 775 version and US $21/€15 for the AMD version.
