A million downloads

Apple is claiming that its Safari for Windows has been a great success with more than a million downloads of the software made in the first 48 hours.

However the company should really halve those figures as it had to release a second version of the software. Security researchers found major flaws in the first release of the software which would have enabled hackers to take over Windows.

It seems that the first 500,000 people who downloaded the software which was touted as being more secure than IE or Firefox, had to download it again.

We downloaded it and found that it was not really worth the bandwidth.
