Wii and PS3 owners who’re not too keen on leaving their TV to visit YouTube can finally rest, as YouTube now has launched a special version of its website aimed at these consoles and tailored with TVs in mind. The new version features larger and clearer fonts as well as simplified interface, customized with gamepad users in mind.

You can find the console friendly site at www.youtube.com/tv, but note that if you’re a PC user and are keen on checking it out, you’ll have to install Firefox and Download User Agent Switcher, and type Mozilla/5.0 (PLAYSTATION 3; 2.00)” into the user agent field.

Switching to the new agent will let you view the website, but there’s always an option to just walk over to your console and save some time.
