AMD cuts top EMEA execs

Several high
ranking EMEA execs at AMD have left over the past few weeks, and AMD's Milan and UK offices have both seen significant cuts.

According to our sources, the UK office has been all but decimated, and at the moment the scope of the cuts seems to have been massive. The Milan office lost more than 10 people, including some high ranking execs.

Among the departed are Giuseppe Amato,  Technical Director for sales and marketing for EMEA, Pierre Brunswick, AMD's top sales man for Russia, CIS and Turkey,  and Herve Barcelo, distribution director in EMEA.

The rumor mill keeps grinding and some sources indicate these latest cuts won't be the last to come.
