Ubuntu going mobile

Canonical has released some feature lists for its upcoming version of Ubuntu Linux for smaller mobile devices.

Ubuntu Mobile and Embedded Edition will permit video, sound and full-featured Internet browsing.  It is due to arrive in October.

The software will run on Intel's Mobile Internet Device platform - mini tablet PCs using low-power processors and tiny keyboards.
