The new steel Zero

NZXT has announced yet another case in its Crafted series, the new Zero 2 which should inherit NZXT's award-winning predecessor named Zero. Measuring 210.5 x 532 x 536mm (WxHxD) the new Zero is indeed a full tower beast made out of 1.0mm steel, and the 10.2kg weight certainly guarantees its sturdiness.

The new Zero 2 is cooled by a single front 120mm blue LED fan, and two rear 120mm fans which are included with the case. It also has room for three 80mm fans for top and bottom mounting, as well as four 120mm side fans. It has a total of 13 drive bays, consisting of five external 5.25-inch and two external 3.5-inch, as well as six internal 3.5-inch drive bays, all with screwless rail design. The USB, audio and eSATA ports are located on top of the case.

According to the press release, the quad 120mm side fans are perfect for users running high-end CPUs in combination with multi-GPU configurations. The new Zero 2 should be available immediately with a suggested retail price of US$99.99.
