Not only did Google launch a new web browser in beta yesterday, but the company also launched its new beta of Picasa which is now in its third iteration. Alongside the new version of Picasa comes a new version of Google's web albums as well.
One of the new features in Picasa 3 is a "sync to web" button which allows you to easily upload whole albums to the Google web albums. Other features include an improved slide show feature, a collage feature and the ability to create photo CDs. The editing features has also been improved with automatic red-eye fixing and smarter cropping.
Uploading files also gives you a new option that limits the bandwidth Picasa can use, which can be handy if you're on a slower internet connection of using something like a 3G modem. Google has also added more camera support and there's a simple video editor that allows you to create simples videos and it has a YouTube sharing button which makes it easier to get your videos online.
