Dealing with those who promote cheating

Activision has been on a tear dealing with those who are posting videos on YouTube of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare exploits, cheats, and other videos that have the main purpose of not promoting fair play.

The weapon of choice for Activision has been issuing copyright strikes on these videos. Activision issued a statement saying the following:

“We’re excited that so many fans are having fun playing the game and posting videos of their gameplay. We love watching the videos ourselves. Occasionally, some folks post videos that promote cheating and unfair exploits. As always, we keep an eye out for these videos – our level of video claims hasn’t changed.

“We are appreciative of the community’s support in helping to ensure that everyone has the best playing experience possible.”

It is questionable how effective this tactics will be, but at least Activision is attempting to do something about it.
