Some new features, including 4K/UHD resolution

While the Playstation 4 version of the Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was quite impressive, the upcoming PC version will have some features that will make it even better and Nvidia made sure to list them all and show some neat screenshot comparison between the upcoming PC and Playstation 4 versions.

According to Nvidia, the PC version of the game will bring some rather impressive new features, including a 60 FPS frame rate, additional deferred lights per scene, additional shadows per scene, higher-resolution render targets and shadows, increased detail over distances, Nvidia SLI multi-GPU support, options to adjust seven graphics features including effects, lighting, screen filtering, shadows, texture filtering and textures, resolution support for up to and including 3840x2160 (4K/UHD) and screen space reflections.

While Nvidia still did not show any 4K/UHD screenshots from the game, it did publish two screenshots which show a rather neat comparison between the Playstation 4 and the upcoming PC version.

The minimum system requirements for the MSG V: Ground Zeroes, in case you missed them, include quad-core Core i5 Sandy Bridge CPU at 2.7GHz or above, at least 4GB of RAM, Geforce GTX 650 and above and at least Windows Vista 64-bit OS. The recommended specifications include same Core i5 Sandy Bridge CPU but takes the RAM up to 8GB of above and include Geforce GTX 760 or above. Of course, for all the neat details, effects and eye-candy as well as 4K/UHD resolution, you will probably need a lot more hardware power.

As announced earlier, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will launch on PC on Decemeber 18th. You can check out the interactive comparison screenshot over at Nvidia's Geforce site or by clicking on those two pictures below.
