Apple sends invitations

It doesn’t come as a big surprise that Apple will release its iPhone 6 on September 9th as this date comes roughly a year after the iPhone 5S announcement.

Apple has sent invitations to its favourite media outlets and they will have the chance to see the Cupertino outfit announce its new product. It is widely expected that you will be able to buy the new iPhone some 10 days after the launch in the USA and some key markets, with other countries to follow shortly.

The only thing we are quite sure about is that the iPhone 6 will grew to 4.7 inches as the 4-inch doesn’t cut it anymore. People just tend to like big screens. A lot of news outfits are reporting that another iPhone with a 5.5-inch screen is in the works, but we will have to see it to believe it. Asia and a lot of emerging countries are buying phablets such as Galaxy Note simply as it replaces both phone and compact tablets. Not everyone can afford two different devices, but then again Apple is not known as a value brand.

Journos are rumbling about a potential launch of the Apple iWatch and we believe the announcement can’t come soon enough. Apple can make Android Wear run for its money thanks to its huge and very loyal user base.

We are quite sure that the new iPhone has a new SoC inside making it faster in both CPU and GPU performance. We don’t know what happens with the next generation iPhone C and if the 6th generation is going to get this one as well, or if the 5S will take its place.
