Assassin’s Creed Unity slips to November

by on29 August 2014

At least it will still release this holiday season

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Unity will not make its original release date. Instead the developers need more time to make the game truly exceptional and for this reason, the release of the game has been delayed till November.

Unity was originally announced as an October 28th release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC worldwide. Instead Ubisoft will be adding what amounts to a two week delay with the new release dates being November 11th in North America and November 13th in Europe.

The confirmation of the new release dates, this means that Unity will release alongside of Assassin’s Creed Rouge. As for the actual specifics as to why the release date was moved; Ubisoft isn’t saying, beyond the fact that the developers needed more time.
