Apple to address the media on September 9th

Written by David Stellmack

Finally a date for the iPhone 6 announcement

Those that have been waiting for the date of the iPhone 6 announcement will have to wait only a little longer. Apple will hold its next big media event on September 9th where it is expected that they will iPhone 6 which is said to use the new A8 processor and come in two sizes. Finally, the iPhone will get a larger screen if the rumors are accurate.

While getting to the presser means that if Apple follows the normal pattern of things, the company will officially release the new iPhone for sale on Friday September 19th. The thing is however that a number of sources are telling us that Apple has been having some issues with the larger screen model, so that one could be in very short supply to start out with.

While the new iPhone of course will be the star of the show, we continue to hear rumors that Apple will also introduce new iPads as well as the iWatch. We are hearing that the new iPads will include a larger screen model or a jumbo as well as an iPad Mini with a Retina display and a the Touch ID fingerprint sensor. Of course this is all just rumors are perhaps nothing more than wishful thinking on the part of some of these sources. We will have to wait till September 9th to see.
