Gearbox confirms new Battleborn title

Written by David Stellmack

Combination of MOBA and FPS in one

Gearbox Software in conjunction with publisher 2K Games has confirmed that the developer has a new title in the pipeline called Battleborn.

The title which is described as a new “Next-Gen Hero-Shooter” is said to take parts of MOBA and combine it with the FPS titles into a 5 vs. 5 multiplayer game that is a fast paced shooter with strategy elements combined with a team dependent format.

The game which is being developed for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC will be targeted for release sometime between April 2015 and March of 2016. We tend to think it will end up being late 2015, but more likely 2016.
