Newegg adds Bitcoins as payment method

Written by Slobodan Simic

Big win for cryptocurrency

In case you have been sitting on a pile of Bitcoins and you happen to need a piece of new computer, or something else for that matter, you might want to check out Newegg.com which has announced that it now accepts Bitcoin as a method of payment.

The process appears to be quite simple and same as with any other method of payement as Bitcoin now appears as a payment option during check out and gives you several ways to send Bitcoins to Newegg.com, including web, mobile and application-based wallets.

Once the transaction is verified by the Bitcoin network, your invoice will be marked as paid and you will get a confirmation mail, which is practically what you get with any other method

This is definitely a big move by Newegg.com and definitely a big win for the cryptocurrency.
