Horizon 2 to get Day One Edition

Written by David Stellmack

Includes 3 unique cars as a bonus

While Forza Horizon 2 will ship with more than 200 cars at release, we have learned that if you pre-order and get the “Day One Edition” we will bag three additional cars completed with an exclusive Forza Horizon Day One Edition livery and turning packages.

The three bonus cars that will be part of the Forza Horizon 2 “Day One Edition” include the 2014 Ford Fiesta ST, 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392, and the 2014 Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG.

Those that pre-order will apparently be able to score an additional car as well. GameStop for example is offer an exclusive 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera for those that pre-order. We don’t yet know if this will be spread around to other dealers as well with unique cars that depend on where you pre-order, but Turn 10 has done this in the past.

With the news of the Day One Edition, we now wonder if the original plans to offer a special Limited Edition version of Forza Horizon 2 for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 have been scraped? According to our sources, apparently the decision on if a Limited Edition version will be released has yet to be reached, but it is still likely based on the fact that Turn 10 has always offered a Limited Edition versions for Forza.
