Watch Dogs team focused on Wii U version

by on02 May 2014

Development of this version is proceeding

Jonathan Morin who is the creative director of the upcoming Ubisoft release, Watch Dogs has confirmed that development is proceeding once again at full speed on the Wii U version of Watch Dogs. He also revealed that Ubisoft Romania team is the team responsible for the development of the Wii U version.

The Romanian team was busy working on other things that required them to turn their full attention to the versions that were shipping first and this delayed the Wii U version. The team is now apparently fully focused on making sure that the Wii U version of Watch Dogs gets the attention that it deserves and making sure that it ends up being the best version that it can be for the Wii U platform.

No word on when the Wii U version might arrive, but sources suggest that a release date for the Wii U version could be in the works to be announced at E3. For sure we hear that UbiSoft would like to see the Wii U version ship before the end of the year and we believe that it is likely that it will.
