Wii gets more sensitive
Delicate egg
Nintendo has been showing off its latest remote with more complex motion-sensing capabilities.
The Wii MotionPlus got its first airing at the E3 Media and Business summit yesterday. It plugs into the base of the Wii Remote and provides what Nintendo say are more intuitive motion controls.
It will hit the shops in spring and will come packaged with Wii Sports Resort. This will have Wii sports-like games designed for those who would like to go to the beach, but never do because their exposure to sunlight, along with an experience of 'outside' would kill them.
Events include Frisbee throwing and jet skiing. Other things that Nintendo have been showing off at the show include the music simulator Wii Music and the WiiSpeak room microphone, which will come with Animal Crossing: City Folk.
Nintendo has also announced games for its DS console, including Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars and Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades.
