LG officially announces LG G Watch

Just a few minutes after Google's official Android Wear announcement, LG has announced its first smartwatch based on Google's Android Wear, the LG G Watch.

Somewhat proving that recent rumors regarding LG Nexus smartwatch were definitely true, the LG has announced its new LG G Watch, co-developed with Google. To make things even more interesting, the rumored specifications were spot on as the LG G Watch will pack a 1.65-inch screen with 280x280 resolution, 512MB of RAM as well as 4GB of storage.

Unfortunately, neither LG or earlier rumors detailed any information regarding the actual SoC which will power the new LG G Watch, but LG did note that the new smartwatch will be ready in Q2 this year, which means that we will definitely hear more about it quite soon.
