NFS Rivals to get Movie DLC Pack

Written by David Stellmack

Can buy it now, but is higher priced offering

Electronic Arts and developer Ghost Games has released new DLC for Need for Speed: Rivals. This add-on DLC for Rivals is called the Movie Pack DLC and as you might guess it is a tie in for the new Need for Speed movie.

The Movie Pack DLC allows buyers to race three cars from the movie. The cars include the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, GTA Spano and Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR Roadster722 S. It adds the three additional cars in the DLC package, nothing else. Cars can be used into the cops or racer campaign modes if you opt to purchase the complete DLC pack.

The higher price for this DLC package might turn some people off. The complete Movie DLC package costs $6.99 which allows the cars to be used in both the cops and the racer mode. You can opt to choose just the cops or racer mode for $4.99. If you are into the cars or the movie, then it might be worth you investing in this DLC offering, but we still find the $6.99 price rather steep for a DLC car package offering when it only adds what amounts to six cars.
