Dirt 4 to have 2014 release?

Written by David Stellmack

Sources seem to think so

Codemasters is likely to finally let the cat out of the bag so to speak on when we can expect the next installment of Dirt franchise and when in 2014 it will arrive. A better question might be as to which platforms we will see Dirt 4 running on?

Based on the teased screen shot that was released, it does appear that Dirt 4 will be the first of the games from the racing studio to get upgraded to the latest next generation consoles. While Codemasters had already confirmed that the next installment in the F1 series from the racing studio would be the first for the next generation consoles, the developer had yet to announce what other games might be coming.

With this hint however, we think it shows that Dirt 4 is coming and it will be a 2014 next generation console offering. (We do still expect them to offer Dirt 4 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this time around however.)
